1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Doorstep Hub website, mobile applications, partner applications, dashboards, marketplace features and related products and services operated by Doorstep Hub Private Limited.
Doorstep Hub is a technology-driven multi-service and local business marketplace operating through doorstephub.com and associated digital applications.
Our platform currently facilitates or may facilitate services across the following major business verticals:

- PG & Hostel Discovery and Enquiries

By accessing, registering with or using Doorstep Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable service-specific policies and any additional terms displayed when using a particular Doorstep Hub service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Doorstep Hub platform.

The exact role of Doorstep Hub may differ depending upon the service, city, category, partner arrangement or transaction.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, requesting a service, submitting an enquiry, posting a listing, accepting a service opportunity, registering as a partner, making a payment or otherwise using Doorstep Hub, you confirm that:
- You have read these Terms;
- You understand these Terms;
- You agree to comply with these Terms;
- Information provided by you is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and
- You are legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction.
Electronic acceptance of these Terms shall be treated as acceptance through an electronic record to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally competent to enter into a binding contract under applicable Indian law to independently enter into transactions through Doorstep Hub.
Persons who are minors or otherwise not legally competent to contract should use transactional services only through or with the involvement of a parent, legal guardian or other legally authorized person where required.
Business accounts must be created or operated by a person authorized to act on behalf of the respective business.
Doorstep Hub may request additional verification where reasonably necessary.
5. Account Registration
Certain features may require registration.
Users may be required to provide:
- Name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- OTP
- Address
- Location
- Profile details
- Business information
- Verification documents
- Other information relevant to the service
You agree to provide accurate and current information.
You must promptly update information if it changes.
Doorstep Hub may refuse, restrict or cancel registration where:
- Information appears false or misleading;
- Verification cannot be completed;
- The account violates these Terms;
- Fraudulent activity is suspected;
- The account presents security concerns; or
- Registration would violate applicable law.
6. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account.
You must not:
- Share OTPs;
- Share account passwords;
- Allow unauthorized persons to use your account;
- Attempt to access another person's account;
- Misrepresent your identity;
- Create fraudulent accounts; or
- Circumvent Doorstep Hub security systems.
You must notify Doorstep Hub promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account.
Doorstep Hub representatives will not normally require your password, UPI PIN, banking PIN, CVV or OTP to provide routine customer support.
7. Nature of the Doorstep Hub Platform
Doorstep Hub brings customers, service professionals, businesses, accommodation providers, religious service providers, sellers and buyers together through a digital platform.
For certain transactions, Doorstep Hub primarily provides technology that facilitates discovery, enquiry, communication or transactions between independent users.
In other circumstances, Doorstep Hub or an authorized service network may participate more directly in providing or coordinating a service.
The booking page, invoice, service description or other applicable transaction information may identify the relevant arrangement.
Nothing in these Terms should be interpreted to remove rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Doorstep Hub currently operates or intends to operate across the following categories.

Including:
- Unisex salons
- Men's grooming
- Women's beauty services
- Spas
- Independent beauticians

- Pet care centres
- Related services
8.3 PG & Hostel Services
Including discovery or enquiries relating to:
- Men's PGs
- Women's PGs
- Student hostels
- Working professional hostels
- Co-living accommodation
- Shared accommodation
8.4 Religious & Pooja Services
Including:
- Pandit booking
- Purohit booking
- Pooja services
- Homam/Havan
- Religious ceremonies
- Festival Poojas
- Astrology-related services where offered
- Related religious services
8.5 Sell & Buy
Including user-generated listings for eligible pre-owned goods such as:
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Furniture
- Computers
- Laptops
- Mobile devices
- Household products
- Office equipment
- Other permitted used products
Doorstep Hub may add, modify, combine or discontinue categories or features from time to time.
9. Appliance Repair Service Terms
When a customer requests appliance repair, the initial information displayed on Doorstep Hub may be based on the problem described by the customer.
A final diagnosis may require physical inspection by the technician.
The actual repair cost may vary depending on:
- Nature of the fault
- Appliance condition
- Brand
- Model
- Required spare parts
- Labour required
- Additional repairs discovered during inspection
Where appropriate, the technician or service provider should communicate an estimate before undertaking significant additional work.
Customers should review and approve applicable charges before authorizing repairs beyond the originally agreed scope.
10. Inspection & Visiting Charges
Certain appliance services may include:
- Inspection charges
- Visiting charges
- Diagnosis charges
- Labour charges
- Transportation charges
- Installation charges
- Spare-part costs
Any applicable charge should be communicated through the platform or by the relevant service provider before or during the service process.
Where an inspection or visiting fee is applicable, it may remain payable even if the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, provided that such charge was appropriately disclosed.
11. Spare Parts & Components
Where replacement parts are required, their availability, brand, price and warranty may depend upon the applicable manufacturer, distributor, supplier or service provider.
Customers should confirm whether the replacement is:
- Original equipment manufacturer part;
- Compatible replacement part;
- Refurbished component; or
- Other replacement component.
No service provider should falsely represent a spare part as genuine or original.
Any manufacturer warranty applicable to a component remains subject to the manufacturer's terms.
12. Repair Warranty
Where a repair warranty or service warranty is specifically offered, its duration and coverage will be communicated through the service confirmation, invoice, partner or applicable service information.
Warranty coverage may exclude circumstances such as:
- Unrelated faults
- Physical damage
- Liquid damage
- Voltage fluctuations
- Pest damage
- Unauthorized repairs
- Misuse
- External wiring problems
- Damage caused by third-party components
- Normal wear and tear
The specific warranty communicated for a service will prevail over general descriptions.
13. Salon, Beauty & Spa Services
Salons, beauticians, spas and grooming professionals available through Doorstep Hub may operate as independent businesses or professionals.
Customers should review relevant information before confirming a service, including:
- Service description
- Price
- Appointment timing
- Business location
- Home-service availability
- Hygiene information where available
- Cancellation conditions
Results from beauty, grooming or cosmetic services can vary from person to person.
Customers should communicate allergies, sensitivities or relevant health concerns directly to the service professional where appropriate.
Doorstep Hub does not guarantee a particular cosmetic or personal outcome unless explicitly promised as part of a Doorstep Hub-provided service.
14. Pet Care Services
Pet grooming salons and pet-care professionals may operate independently through the platform.
Pet owners are responsible for providing relevant information about their pet, including where necessary:
- Behaviour
- Health concerns
- Allergies
- Injuries
- Aggression
- Special-care requirements
Service providers may refuse or discontinue a service where continuing could reasonably create a safety risk to the pet, owner or professional.
Any veterinary diagnosis, treatment or medication should only be obtained from appropriately qualified professionals where legally required.
15. PG & Hostel Listings
Doorstep Hub may provide technology enabling users to discover, compare or contact PGs, hostels and accommodation providers.
Property information may be supplied directly by the respective owner, manager or operator.
This information may include:
- Photographs
- Rent
- Deposit
- Facilities
- Availability
- Room types
- Food facilities
- Restrictions
- House rules
- Location
Availability and pricing may change.
Users should verify important information directly with the property operator before making a payment or entering into an accommodation arrangement.
16. Accommodation Agreements
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Doorstep Hub is not the owner, landlord, tenant or property manager of independent PG or hostel properties listed on the platform.
Any accommodation agreement may be directly between the accommodation seeker and property operator.
Users should independently review:
- Rent
- Deposit
- Lock-in period
- Notice period
- Refund rules
- Food charges
- Electricity charges
- Maintenance charges
- Guest policies
- Entry/exit rules
- Documentation requirements
- Other property conditions
Doorstep Hub is not responsible for terms independently negotiated between a user and a property provider, except to the extent required by applicable law or where Doorstep Hub expressly assumes such responsibility.
17. Property Verification
Doorstep Hub may undertake verification measures for certain listed properties.
A "Verified" label indicates only that specified verification steps have been completed at a particular time.
Verification does not constitute:
- A legal title guarantee;
- A structural safety certificate;
- A guarantee of continued availability;
- A guarantee regarding every facility;
- A guarantee of future conduct by the operator; or
- Legal advice regarding the property.
Users should conduct their own reasonable checks before making long-term accommodation decisions.
18. Religious & Pooja Services
Doorstep Hub may connect customers with:
- Pandits
- Purohits
- Priests
- Astrologers
- Religious professionals
Service details may include:
- Ceremony type
- Date
- Time
- Location
- Language
- Samagri requirements
- Dakshina/service charges
- Travel charges
- Other requirements
Customers and service providers should confirm all relevant requirements before the scheduled ceremony.
19. No Guarantee of Spiritual Outcomes
Religious ceremonies, astrology, rituals and related spiritual services are matters of individual belief and tradition.
Doorstep Hub does not guarantee:
- Spiritual outcomes;
- Financial outcomes;
- Marriage outcomes;
- Health outcomes;
- Career outcomes;
- Astrological predictions;
- Removal of alleged supernatural conditions; or
- Any other particular result from religious or spiritual services.
Users should exercise their own judgment.
20. Sell & Buy Marketplace
The Doorstep Hub Sell & Buy vertical enables users to create listings for eligible pre-owned products and communicate with potential buyers or sellers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Doorstep Hub does not own products listed by independent sellers.
A transaction may be directly between the seller and buyer.
Doorstep Hub may provide:
- Listing technology
- Search
- Discovery
- Chat
- Contact tools
- Location information
- Reporting tools
- Other marketplace functionality
21. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must provide accurate information about items they list.
A seller must disclose material information that could reasonably affect a buyer's decision, including where applicable:
- Product condition
- Damage
- Defects
- Age
- Major repairs
- Missing parts
- Functional problems
Sellers must have the legal right to sell the item.
Sellers must not knowingly create false, misleading or fraudulent listings.
22. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers should reasonably inspect and verify products before completing a transaction.
Buyers should check matters such as:
- Product condition
- Ownership
- Serial number where applicable
- Functionality
- Accessories
- Invoice where available
- Warranty status
- Product authenticity
Buyers should never make payments merely because someone claims to represent Doorstep Hub.
23. Prohibited Listings
Users must not use Doorstep Hub to list, sell, request or promote goods or services that are illegal, unsafe, prohibited or restricted under applicable law or Doorstep Hub policies.
Prohibited listings may include, depending on applicable law and platform policy:
- Stolen goods
- Counterfeit goods
- Illegal drugs
- Controlled substances offered unlawfully
- Weapons or prohibited weapons
- Explosives
- Obscene or unlawful content
- Fraudulent documents
- Unauthorized personal data
- Products obtained through criminal activity
- Items violating intellectual property rights
- Products whose sale is legally prohibited
- Other unlawful or dangerous products
Doorstep Hub may remove any listing that reasonably appears to violate applicable laws, these Terms or marketplace policies.
24. User-Generated Content
Users may upload content such as:
- Photos
- Videos
- Reviews
- Comments
- Business descriptions
- Service information
- Product descriptions
- Listings
- Profile information
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own.
By uploading content to Doorstep Hub, you grant Doorstep Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the platform and the relevant listing or service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload the content.
25. Prohibited Content
Users must not upload content that:
- Is fraudulent;
- Misrepresents goods or services;
- Infringes intellectual property rights;
- Violates privacy rights;
- Contains malware;
- Promotes illegal activity;
- Impersonates another person;
- Contains unauthorized confidential information;
- Is threatening or unlawfully abusive;
- Is otherwise unlawful.
Doorstep Hub may remove or restrict access to content where appropriate.
26. Reviews & Ratings
Customers may be permitted to submit ratings and reviews based on genuine experiences.
Reviews must not:
- Be fake;
- Be purchased;
- Be submitted for services never received;
- Contain knowingly false allegations;
- Be used for extortion;
- Contain unnecessary personal information;
- Manipulate platform ratings.
Service partners must not create fake customer accounts or manipulate reviews.
Doorstep Hub may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
Doorstep Hub is not required to remove a negative review merely because a business disagrees with it.
27. Service Partner Registration
Persons or businesses registering as partners may be required to provide:
- Identity information
- Business information
- Address
- Service category
- Experience
- Service areas
- Pricing
- Photographs
- Professional qualifications
- Bank details
- Tax information
- Verification documents
Doorstep Hub may accept or reject a partner application based on platform requirements.
Registration alone does not guarantee customer enquiries, bookings, leads or business revenue.
28. Partner Verification
Doorstep Hub may conduct identity, business, address, document or other verification checks.
Partners must not submit:
- Forged documents
- False identities
- Misleading business information
- Another person's credentials without authorization
Verification may be periodically reviewed.
Doorstep Hub may suspend a partner whose information can no longer be reasonably verified.
29. Independent Service Professionals
Unless expressly stated otherwise, service professionals using Doorstep Hub may operate as independent service providers.
Nothing in these Terms automatically creates an:
- Employer-employee relationship;
- Partnership;
- Joint venture;
- Franchise;
- Agency relationship
between Doorstep Hub and an independent service partner.
The actual legal relationship may depend upon the specific written arrangement entered into with the partner.
30. Professional Licences & Permissions
Partners are responsible for obtaining and maintaining licences, registrations, qualifications, permits, tax registrations or professional approvals legally required for their activities.
Doorstep Hub may request evidence of such documentation.
31. Lead & Enquiry Services
Doorstep Hub may provide customer enquiries, leads, opportunities or contact requests to registered partners.
An enquiry or lead does not guarantee:
- Conversion;
- Booking;
- Payment;
- Revenue;
- Customer acceptance; or
- Completion of the transaction.
Partners remain responsible for providing professional service and communicating accurately with prospective customers.
32. Partner Fees & Paid Features
Doorstep Hub may offer paid partner features, access products, promotional services, lead-access products or other business services.
Any applicable:
- Price
- Validity period
- Benefits
- Usage conditions
- Renewal terms
- Taxes
will be displayed before purchase or otherwise communicated through the applicable commercial agreement.
Purchase of a paid feature does not guarantee a specific number of conversions, revenue or business outcomes unless explicitly stated.
33. Pricing
Prices displayed on Doorstep Hub may be:
- Fixed;
- Estimated;
- Starting prices;
- Partner-provided prices;
- Inspection-based prices; or
- Subject to final quotation.
The pricing type should be considered together with the applicable service description.
Where a final price depends upon inspection or requirements discovered during service, customers should approve additional charges before additional work is performed.
34. Taxes
Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on how they are displayed.
Applicable GST or other taxes may be charged in accordance with applicable law.
Relevant invoices or receipts may be issued by Doorstep Hub or the respective service provider depending upon the transaction structure.
35. Payments
Doorstep Hub may support:
- Online payments
- UPI
- Cards
- Net banking
- Payment gateways
- Cash payments
- Other available payment methods
Available payment options may vary by category or location.
Online payments may be processed by authorized third-party payment providers.
Users must not misuse payment systems or initiate fraudulent chargebacks.
36. Payment Security
Users should never share:
- UPI PIN
- ATM PIN
- Card PIN
- OTP
- CVV
- Internet banking password
with service professionals, sellers, buyers or persons claiming to represent Doorstep Hub.
Payments should be made only through legitimate payment methods or verified channels.
37. Cancellation
Cancellation rules may vary depending upon the service.
A cancellation fee may apply in circumstances such as:
- Technician already dispatched;
- Professional already travelling;
- Appointment preparation completed;
- Last-minute cancellation;
- Special material purchased;
- Other disclosed circumstances.
The applicable cancellation conditions should be displayed or communicated before confirmation where relevant.
38. Rescheduling
Customers may request rescheduling subject to:
- Partner availability
- Service availability
- Property appointment availability
- Ceremony schedule
- Other practical limitations
Doorstep Hub does not guarantee that the original professional or time slot will remain available after rescheduling.
39. Refunds
Refund eligibility will depend on:
- Nature of the transaction
- Payment status
- Service status
- Cancellation timing
- Partner involvement
- Marketplace arrangement
- Applicable refund policy
- Applicable law
Approved refunds will generally be returned through an available appropriate payment mechanism.
Banking and payment-provider processing times may apply.
A separate Cancellation & Refund Policy may provide additional details and will form part of these Terms where applicable.
40. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate service information;
- Provide correct contact details;
- Provide reasonable access to the service location;
- Maintain a safe environment for service professionals;
- Communicate requirements clearly;
- Review quotations before approval;
- Make legitimate payments;
- Treat professionals respectfully;
- Avoid harassment or abusive conduct;
- Not request unlawful services.
Doorstep Hub may restrict accounts involving repeated abuse, fraud or intentional misuse.
41. Service Partner Responsibilities
Partners agree to:
- Maintain professional conduct;
- Provide accurate business information;
- Maintain necessary skills and qualifications;
- Honour accepted commitments;
- Clearly disclose prices;
- Avoid misleading customers;
- Maintain reasonable hygiene and safety standards;
- Protect customer information;
- Avoid unauthorized use of customer contact information;
- Follow applicable law;
- Provide appropriate invoices where legally required;
- Avoid discrimination prohibited by law;
- Address legitimate customer complaints professionally.
42. Customer Contact Information
Partners receiving customer information through Doorstep Hub may use it only for legitimate purposes related to the enquiry, booking or service.
Partners must not:
- Sell customer databases;
- Send unauthorized bulk marketing;
- Harass customers;
- Publicly disclose customer details;
- Share customer information without legitimate reason.
Misuse may result in suspension or termination.
43. Communication
Doorstep Hub may communicate with users through:
- Phone
- SMS
- WhatsApp where applicable
- Push notification
- In-app message
- Website notification
- Other authorized communication channels
Transactional communication may include:
- OTPs
- Booking confirmations
- Technician details
- Enquiry updates
- Payment information
- Appointment reminders
- Security notices
- Account changes
Marketing communications may be subject to separate consent or opt-out mechanisms where required.
44. Location Services
Certain Doorstep Hub features use location information to:
- Identify nearby professionals;
- Identify available businesses;
- Display PGs or hostels;
- Display relevant listings;
- Determine serviceability;
- Support doorstep fulfilment.
Location availability and accuracy depend partly on your device and third-party mapping technologies.
45. Platform Availability
Doorstep Hub seeks to maintain reliable platform access but does not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability.
Services may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance
- Technical problems
- Server failures
- Network problems
- Cybersecurity incidents
- Third-party outages
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Events beyond reasonable control
Where reasonably possible, Doorstep Hub will work to restore affected services.
46. Changes to Platform Features
Doorstep Hub may introduce, modify or discontinue:
- Features
- Categories
- Service areas
- Payment methods
- Partner programs
- Pricing structures
- Interfaces
- Applications
- Business verticals
Such changes may be made to improve the platform, address technical requirements or comply with legal or operational requirements.
Existing contractual rights will be respected to the extent required by applicable law.
47. Verification Does Not Mean Guarantee
Doorstep Hub may use terms such as:

Verified PG
Verified Seller
Such terminology generally means that certain Doorstep Hub verification procedures were completed at a particular time.
Verification does not constitute an unconditional guarantee of:
- Future conduct;
- Service quality;
- Financial reliability;
- Product authenticity;
- Legal title;
- Safety;
- Suitability.
Users should continue exercising reasonable judgment.
48. Complaints & Disputes Between Users
Where a dispute arises between customers and partners, buyers and sellers or accommodation seekers and property operators, users should first attempt to communicate through available Doorstep Hub channels.
Doorstep Hub may, where appropriate:
- Receive complaints;
- Request supporting information;
- Review platform records;
- Facilitate communication;
- Restrict accounts;
- Remove listings;
- Take other reasonable platform actions.
Doorstep Hub is not required to act as a judicial authority or make legally binding determinations between independent users.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer remedies.
49. Fraud & Misuse
Doorstep Hub may investigate activity indicating:
- Fraud
- Fake bookings
- Fake listings
- Account manipulation
- Payment fraud
- Identity fraud
- Review manipulation
- Lead manipulation
- Promotional abuse
- Security attacks
- Harassment
- Other platform misuse
Accounts may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect customers, partners or the platform.
50. Suspension & Termination
Doorstep Hub may suspend, restrict or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations including:
- Fraud
- Illegal activity
- Fake documents
- Misrepresentation
- Customer harassment
- Partner harassment
- Unsafe conduct
- Repeated service complaints
- Fake reviews
- Spam
- Data misuse
- Payment fraud
- Prohibited listings
- Intellectual property violations
- Security threats
- Violation of applicable law
Where appropriate, Doorstep Hub may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue, subject to safety, legal and fraud-prevention considerations.
51. User Account Closure
Users may request closure of their account subject to:
- Pending transactions
- Outstanding payments
- Active disputes
- Legal retention requirements
- Fraud investigations
- Other legitimate obligations
Account closure does not automatically erase records that Doorstep Hub is legally permitted or required to retain.
Privacy-related deletion requests are addressed under the Doorstep Hub Privacy Policy.
52. Intellectual Property
The Doorstep Hub platform and its proprietary materials may include:
- Doorstep Hub name
- D-Hub branding
- Logos
- Trademarks
- Website design
- Application design
- Software
- Icons
- Graphics
- Text
- Databases
- Source code
- Platform architecture
- Proprietary workflows
These materials are owned by or licensed to Doorstep Hub Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
No user may copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Doorstep Hub proprietary materials without authorization, except where permitted by law.
53. Third-Party Intellectual Property
Users must respect trademarks, copyright and other intellectual-property rights belonging to third parties.
A seller must not knowingly sell counterfeit goods.
Businesses must not upload photographs, logos or content they do not have permission to use.
Doorstep Hub may remove material upon receiving a valid intellectual-property complaint or where infringement is otherwise reasonably established.
54. Third-Party Services
Doorstep Hub may integrate services from independent providers such as:
- Payment gateways
- Map providers
- Cloud providers
- Communication services
- Authentication providers
- Analytics services
- Advertising platforms

- Customer conversion
- Search ranking
- Profit
- Revenue
- Business success
Results depend upon numerous factors including location, demand, pricing, service quality, availability and customer preferences.
58. Limitation Relating to Independent Providers
Where Doorstep Hub acts solely as a marketplace or technology facilitator, the independent service provider remains responsible for the service supplied by that provider.
Doorstep Hub will nevertheless fulfil any obligations imposed directly upon it under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to unlawfully exclude or restrict consumer rights.
59. Product Transactions Between Users
For peer-to-peer Sell & Buy transactions, unless Doorstep Hub expressly offers transaction protection or another specific guarantee:
- Seller is responsible for lawful ownership;
- Seller is responsible for accurate description;
- Buyer is responsible for reasonable inspection;
- Buyer and seller are responsible for agreeing transaction terms.
Doorstep Hub may assist with reported fraud but cannot guarantee recovery of money or goods in every case.
60. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Doorstep Hub will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or purely economic losses arising from circumstances outside Doorstep Hub's reasonable control.
